"Rowdy Rathore 2" has been named as a remake of Hindi movie "Rowdy". And both films have been directed by Sajid Khan. The film was released on 1st February 2015. The movie feels like a remake of the first Rowdy film by Sajid Khan. All actors from the first Rowdy movie were there in this movie too. This movie has a common plot line with the original Rowdy. In both films, cop knows his enemy and plans to bring them to justice by himself without any help from anybody else. In this movie, Raghu Rai plans to do the same. The marketing campaign of the movie is very much similar to Rowdy marketing campaign. The marketing team has gone all out to improve the ratings of this film as much as possible. The marketing campaign was very huge and massive for a small budget film. The first song "Mera Saath Meri" from Rowdy Rathore movie was used for the first time in "Rowdy Rathore 2".
